The Society and England Rugby have recognised that there has been a problem with players not adhering to the core values of the game with inappropriate behaviour such as appealing, use of foul and obscene language, winding up the opposition by sledging, head, slapping, applauding mistakes etc. Referees will be coming down hard on players who are not willing to behave in an appropriate manner and this is being fully supported by the WRFU.
